A unit of energy equivalent to 1000 kW or 1,000,000 watts.
A device that measures the amount of electrical energy consumed by a residence, commercial or an electrically powered device. TDSPs (Utility companies) read meters to determine how much electricity each client used. Types of electricity meters include digital meters and smart meters.
